1. What AgentBlocks Does

AgentBlocks provides a controlled interface that lets AI agents interact with Google services (Gmail, Google Drive) and other platforms on your behalf. All actions are routed through human approval or deterministic rules before execution. AgentBlocks acts like a desktop client for these services — it accesses your data in real time to carry out the actions you request, but does not store your data.

2. Information We Access

When you connect your Google account, you choose which permissions (scopes) to grant. These may include:

Gmail: Reading, composing, sending, and managing your email and settings.
Google Drive: Reading, creating, editing, and organising your files and folders.
Profile information: Your name and email address, used to identify your account.

3. How We Use Your Data

All access to your Google data is transient. We access it in real time solely to perform the actions you request, then discard it. We do not copy, store, index, or cache the contents of your emails, attachments, or Drive files on our servers.

Specifically, your Google data is used only to:

Carry out actions you or your authorised AI agent explicitly request (e.g., reading an email, sending a reply, opening a document).
Display information back to you or your agent within the current session.

We do not use your Google data for advertising, market research, or any purpose unrelated to providing the AgentBlocks service.

4. Data We Do Not Store

We do not retain:

The content of your emails or drafts
Your Google Drive files or file contents
Email attachments

OAuth tokens are held only for the duration needed to perform authorised actions and are revoked when you disconnect your account.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share your Google data with any third parties. The only data transfers that occur are between AgentBlocks and Google's APIs on your behalf, as directed by you.

6. Security

We protect data in transit using TLS encryption. Access to Google APIs is scoped to only the permissions you grant and is governed by the approval rules you configure in AgentBlocks.

7. Your Rights

You may at any time:

Revoke AgentBlocks' access via your Google Account permissions.
Request confirmation of what data, if any, we hold about you.
Request deletion of your AgentBlocks account and any associated data.

As a UK-based service, we comply with applicable UK data protection law. If you have concerns about how your data is handled, you may contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

8. Google API Services – Limited Use Disclosure

AgentBlocks' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:

We only use Google data to provide and improve the AgentBlocks service as described in this policy.
We do not transfer Google data to third parties except as necessary to provide the service, as required by law, or with your explicit consent.
We do not use Google data for advertising or serving ads.
A human can read your Google data only with your affirmative consent, when necessary for security purposes, to comply with law, or when aggregated and anonymised for internal operations.

We may update this policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
